A woolly wonderland in Cumbrian woods

A host of woolly flora and fauna has taken up residence and transformed a Cumbrian woodland.

Thousands of woollen art pieces have been placed in the trees and on the woodland floor at Talkin Tarn Country Park near Carlisle.

It is part of Woollen Woods, a project that aims to raise the profile of wool and get communities crafting.

The project has been supported by BBC Radio Cumbria.
