Duke of Edinburgh marks Royal Yacht Squadron anniversary

A host of European royals joined the Duke of Edinburgh on the Isle of Wight to take part in the Royal Yacht Squadron (RYS) bicentenary celebrations.

The duke conducted a review of the yachts belonging to members of the squadron, where he was also joined by the Princess Royal and the Earl and Countess of Wessex.

The events form part of the year-long celebration to commemorate the inauguration of the RYS on 1 June 1815.

Steve Humphrey reports.
