Storm Aileen eases away as rain persists

The worst of Storm Aileen's winds have rattled off towards the Netherlands, says BBC Weather presenter Matt Taylor.

The rest of the day is looking blustery, much like recent weather, he adds. There will be showers in much of the country, with temperatures in the teens.
