Amber Rudd urges police not to 'ask for more money'

The Home Secretary has said she does not want to see police forces "asking for more money" when crime goes up.

Ms Rudd, speaking at the conference of the National Police Chiefs' Council (NPCC) and Association of Police and Crime Commissioners in London, said forces should not "reach for a pen" and write a press release demanding cash but focus on crime prevention.
