Carriage which carried WW1 Unknown Soldier restored

90 years ago, the body of an unknown WW1 soldier was transported across Kent before being laid to rest at Westminster Abbey.

Hundreds of thousands of people lined the route to pay their respects and the funeral was a national event.

This morning, the carriage that transported him went on show at the Kent and East Sussex Railway in Tenterden.

Robin Gibson reports.
