Parkinson's patients wanted for big research project

A charity is looking for 3,000 people with Parkinson's disease to take part in the biggest ever study into its causes.

People need to be under 50 or have had Parkinson's for less than three years. Doctors will be looking at factors called bio-markers - changes in the body that can be measured and could help with diagnosis.

Eight hospitals in the eastern region are taking part in the research project which will cost Parkinson's UK £1.6m.
