Duke commemorates King's visit

The Duke of Gloucester has been in Torquay to commemorate a visit to the town by King George Vl and his wife, Queen Elizabeth, in 1942.

More than 500 Air Cadets were on parade for the salute which marked the 70th anniversary of the royal visit.

The duke, who is an honorary air marshal, watched as a Spitfire and a Hurricane took part in a fly-past.
