London 2012: Kent, Surrey and Sussex businesses boosted

With 56 days until the start of the Olympics, firms in Kent, Surrey and Sussex have won millions of pounds worth of business contracts through the Games.

In Kent and Medway alone the event is estimated to be worth £100m - but millions more could come from tourists who visit after the games.

Businesses in Kent and Medway have won 243 contracts, and will play host to four team training camps. Sussex, Brighton and Hove have 98 contracts and five training camps, while Surrey has 340 contracts and 31 training camps.

BBC South East Correspondent Mark Norman looks at the figures.
