South East robbers armed with chainsaw sent to jail

Two members of a gang who raided offices across the South East carrying a chainsaw and other weapons have been jailed.

Dean Shade, 32, of Turpington Lane, Bromley, was jailed for life and James Russell, 24, of Leybourne Close in Crawley, West Sussex, was given an 11-year sentence.

Some victims were tied up and told if they did not co-operate with the robbers they would have their fingers cut off.
