Olympic torch carried by man told he would not walk again

A man who has had 30 operations and was told he would never walk again has carried the flame in the Olympic torch relay.

Tony Eaton, 58, from Worksop, Nottinghamshire, who was seriously injured in a road accident in 1982, has raised thousands of pounds for charity by running marathons.

Mr Eaton carried the torch through Conisbrough, South Yorkshire, on Tuesday.
