Afghanistan blast victim fulfils Siverstone racing dream

A chance to race at the Silverstone circuit has fulfilled a boyhood dream for a soldier who lost a leg in Afghanistan.

Jimmy Gillborn, from Cambridgeshire, was just 23 when he stood on an IED last year during a patrol with the Afghan national army.

This weekend he will join a four-man team competing in the Britcar 24 race at the Northamptonshire circuit.
