The forgotten 800 dead of D-Day rehearsal

A World War Two practice exercise which ended in tragedy and was kept secret for more than 40 years was captured on film days before 800 men were killed.

The D-Day rehearsal, named Exercise Tiger, saw a loss of life greater than the actual invasion of Normandy just months later.
