Teacher's sex abuse victim tells of suicidal thoughts

A victim of former maths tutor Geoffrey Oborn, who has been jailed for sexual assaults on three of his pupils, says his ordeal as an 11-year-old has changed his life.

Antony Wilkinson, now 47, waived his right to anonymity to speak of the impact of Oborn's behaviour after the 79-year-old was jailed for seven-and-a-half years at Maidstone Crown Court.

He said it had been hell - and he does not believe that he and two women, whose assaults Oborn was also convicted of, were his only victims.
