Megan Peat's father marks her murder with self-defence class

A father whose daughter was stabbed to death by a jealous boyfriend is launching a self-defence course for teenagers.

David Peat, from Flitwick in Bedfordshire, said he was haunted by the loss of his 15-year-old daughter, Megan Leigh-Peat, in June 2012.

He hopes the course will teach others how to protect themselves and save other families the anguish he has suffered.

In September Andrew Hall, an ex-Premier League academy footballer, was jailed for life with a minimum term of 10 years for her murder.

The course will be at Templefield Lower School, Flitwick, on Saturday 6 July from 10.30-12.00 BST.
