Fujitsu confirms 600 jobs to relocate by March 2015

Electronics firm Fujitsu has confirmed about 600 of its UK-based employees are to be relocated.

Staff in Reading and Slough are to be consulted on plans to move to either Bracknell or Basingstoke by March 2015.

The firm says the move is in response to "changing needs of customers" and will follow the end of leases at their Reading and Slough offices.

Bracknell Forest Council has welcomed the news claiming the jobs will boost the local economy.

Fujitsu says no job losses are expected from the move and staff consultations will begin later this month.
