Free lunches for Birmingham low-income family children

Children from families on low incomes are being offered free lunches during the summer holidays.

Holiday Kitchen takes place at the Birmingham Eco Park until 30 August.

Ashram Housing Association is running the BBC Children in Need funded project as part of its campaign to alleviate child poverty in the city.

More than 2,000 packed lunches will also be distributed to other holiday schemes in Bordesley Green and nearby areas over the summer.
