HS2 contract hopefuls attend conference at ICC in Birmingham

About 800 firms interested in bidding for contracts for the HS2 high-speed rail link attended a conference in Birmingham.

More than £10bn of contracts are up for grabs.

HS2 Ltd, the Government body responsible for the project, organised the conference at the ICC on Tuesday to give people an idea about the type of work on offer.
