Bloxwich amputee girl surprises doctors by skateboarding

A seven-year-old girl who was born with a condition that meant she cannot use her legs has surprised doctors with her active life.

Rosie Davies from Bloxwich has a condition that means her spine was not attached to her pelvis.

Surgeons amputated her legs and used a bone to fuse her body together, in an attempt to make sure she could sit properly in a wheelchair.

But as BBC Midlands Today's Joanne Writtle reports, Rosie does not use a wheelchair - she goes to dance classes and even speeds around on a skateboard.
