Aston Villa FA Cup winner is given special ticket for final

Aston Villa's FA Cup winner Peter McParland has been given a royal box ticket for the Wembley final on Saturday.

The Birmingham club play Arsenal, having beaten Liverpool 2-1 in the semi-final.

Mr McParland, 81, scored two goals in the 1957 final against Manchester United.

"It was great to be going along the streets of Birmingham back towards Villa Park and them [supporters] all lined on the streets", he said.

And when asked for a score prediction for Saturday, he replied: "2-1 would be nice, 3-1 would be beautiful."
