'Give me a job' plea to commuters lands graduate an interview

A job-seeking graduate has been hoping to find work by handing out his CV to commuters at Birmingham's New Street station.

Jamie Harris, 22, from Telford in Shropshire, said he had applied for many jobs but kept being told by prospective employers that he "needed more experience".

The University of Leicester history graduate, who has just completed a masters degree at Lancaster University, stood with a sign in the station concourse, inviting people to take a copy of his CV.
