Cherry Hinton crossbow hedgehog killer investigation

At least nine hedgehogs have been stabbed or shot and their bodies dumped on park land in Cambridgeshire.

RSPCA inspectors were called to Cherry Hinton after residents reported bodies with marks suggesting an arrow or bolt had been used and then removed.

A spokesman said the deaths were "cruel in the extreme" and appealed to the public for information.
