CCTV captures rail cable theft

Four Nuneaton men have been jailed for a string of railway cable thefts between August 2010 and March 2011.

Warwickshire Justice Centre heard the men caused train delays of about 500 hours.

Flame Redshaw, 20, of Stanley Road and George Brunozzi-Jones, 22, of Lutterworth Road, were each jailed for three years.

John Gowland, 26, of Heath End Road, was imprisoned for three and a half years, while Dominic Wallis, 23, of Dryden Close, was given 19 months.

The court heard the men stole a total of 1,200m (3,940ft) of cable in the Nuneaton area, in 30 offences, over a period of six months.
