Toys saved from scrapheap at Coventry repair cafe

A cafe in Coventry isn't just serving up cups of tea and slices of cake, but showing people how to fix old toys as well.

Children and adults are being asked to take in old broken toys to the repair cafe, rather than throwing them away.

Experts then show customers how to fix them.

From arms missing on dolls to malfunctioning robots, the free initiative, supported by universities in the area, aims to encourage upcycling and introduce young minds to engineering.
