Huge knitted Christmas tree goes on display

A 28ft-tall (8.5m) knitted Christmas tree has gone on display at Coleshill parish church in Warwickshire.

Made by people from mainly across the West Midlands, it features almost 7,000 knitted squares, 2,500 knitted decorations and took a week to assemble.

Volunteers, who wanted to bring people together to create a "community tree", hope it can visit other churches in the future.
