Sally Pepper helps out with lambing at Calke Abbey, Derbyshire

East Midlands Today's Sally Pepper has visited Calke Abbey in Derbyshire to see how lambing is going during an uncertain time for farmers.

Cases of the Schmallenberg Virus, which affects sheep, cattle and goats, have been reported throughout the UK.

The disease which was named after a German town, where it was identified, is thought to be carried by midges.
