Buttsbury Wash driver rescued from flooded vehicle

Firefighters have rescued a man stuck in his car in a flooded road in Essex.

Fire crews were called to the man who was stuck in his car which was in about 4ft (1.2m) of water at Buttsbury Wash, near Billericay, at about 09:15 GMT on Wednesday.

Firefighters used an inflatable sledge to rescue the man and bring him to safety by 10:10.
