Jet-powered shopping trolley to feature at Gloucestershire festival

A jet-powered shopping trolley is joining hundreds of classic and modern race bikes at a bike festival in Gloucestershire on Sunday.

The annual festival at Prescott Hill, near Cheltenham, includes a variety of customised contraptions.

Matt McKeown, from Gloucestershire, converted the trolley after finding it in a ditch and it is now thought to be the fastest in the world having reached a speed of 70mph (113km/h).

He said he hopes to "easily" break the 100mph (161km/h) barrier by adding an afterburner.
