UK's oldest female wing-walker, 88, sets new record

A daring 88-year-old has set a new record as the UK's oldest female wing-walker.

Betty Bromage, who lives in a retirement home in Cheltenham, took to the skies over Gloucestershire Airport strapped to the wings of a vintage biplane.

The former nurse beat the record she set last year, when she was just 87.

She said it was a "bit windy" and a "bit wobbly" but it was great and she thoroughly enjoyed it.
