Chalk stream drought in the South

The south of England has had the wettest April for 12 years, figures have revealed.

But part of trout stream, the Bourne Rivulet in Hampshire, which attracts fishermen from all over the world, is closed to fishing because river levels are too low.

The Environment Secretary Caroline Spelman says a wet winter is still needed for a return to normal conditions.
