Ronin at the Brewery Tap, Worcester - 22.01.12

There's a whole lot of local bands who play great music, but most importantly, they're doing absolutely everything right in getting themselves out there to the listening public and plugging themselves for all it's worth.

I'd definitely put Worcester rockers Ronin into this category. I caught them at the very eclectic Brewery Tap, in Lowesmoor, for their new and increasingly buzzing Sunday nights live promotion.

I can only see good times ahead for Ronin at the moment - they're a soft-rocking four-piece of total musical quality with great numbers like Without You and Fly Away off their excellent 'Hybris' EP, but of course they've got a prize asset in the form of vocalist Kit Kinrade who you've got to feel was just put on this earth to front-up a rock band - star-quality in bucketloads!

Total entertainment was again provided on the night from all the Tap regulars and Ronin in particular - another outfit with a great year ahead of them.
