This Wicked Tongue at the Brewery Tap, Worcester

I reckon that one act that we'll all be following this year is This Wicked Tongue - is there anyone out there who actually doesn't like them? No? I thought not!

There was a great atmosphere at the Brewery Tap in Worcester's Lowesmoor as the Tina V-fronted four-piece played what could in the very near future be an increasingly rare event - a gig in their hometown.

It was a shame to only just miss the end of support act Time Of The Mouth - but plenty of tongues were wagging about how improved this incredibly young Kidderminster trio have become in the last year or so. It seemed like half of Malvern had turned up to check out the place for a future gig - and with great lighting and improved sound system - well there were plenty of nods of approval.

An awesomely blasting set to follow from Tina and the guys - Haydn on guitar, Rob on bass and Ben on drums - who have really come together since last summer into the complete rock 'n' roll outfit with awesome numbers like 22, Carry This and cracking new number Isaac. They're off on a national mini-tour shortly and of all the local outfits 'knocking at the doors' in 2012 - I reckon This Wicked Tongue could just be the first to really go massive.
