The Nick Clegg I'm Sorry song - written in Ross-on-Wye

The Nick Clegg I'm Sorry song has had nearly two million hits online.

That recording - which has spread all around the country - originated in Foy, near Ross-on-Wye.

And Alex Ross is the genius behind it. He says he's surprised by its sudden success.

The single has already entered the top 40 after being released for charity.

It came in at number 39 in the iTunes digital chart just over 12 hours after it was released - entering above more seasoned pop artists including Kanye West, Little Mix and The Script.

Mr Clegg gave permission for the single to be released and all profits will be given to Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust, of which his wife Miriam is a patron.
