Cottingham couple open tearoom in tribute to daughter

The parents of a six-year-old girl who died from a brain tumour in January have opened a tea shop in memory of their daughter.

John and Lisa Mowforth have set up 'Ellie's Tea Room' at the Duke of Cumberland pub in their village of Cottingham.

Mr Mowforth said: "She loved baking with Lisa. Most days last year when she was at home during the treatment she baked every day."

On Saturday the couple held a charity fundraising day to generate funds for When You Wish Upon A Star and The Brain Tumour Trust.
