Prototype beds on trial at Cottingham's Castle Hill hospital

A prototype hospital 'bedpod' aimed at improving patient privacy is being trialled at Castle Hill Hospital, in Cottingham.

The hospital is one of only two in the country to be taking part in the tests.

The beds include a double curtain to prevent patients being overheard, adjustable lighting and power sockets.
