Kent couple waiting for baby to be transferred

A Kent couple has been waiting for a month for one of their baby twin daughters to be transferred from a Southampton hospital to King's College Hospital in London.

At least twice a week Paul Larcombe and Jamie Willicott drive the 236-mile round trip between Southampton and their home in Ashford with their healthy twin Lauren.

Ms Willicott said they were unable to pay their rent with the cost of visiting their daughter Layla.

In a statement King's College Hospital said it was making every effort to ensure 11-week-old Layla was transferred as soon as possible.
