Stolen car hits grieving family's home in Sittingbourne

A family who have suffered a series of personal tragedies say they do not know how they will make it through Christmas after a stolen car smashed into their home.

Terrence Heavey's home in Murston near Sittingbourne is uninsured and he is facing a £10,000 bill.

Kent Police said a 41-year-old man from Sittingbourne had been arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and dangerous driving. He has been released pending further investigation.
