Soldiers' wives Weeton Military Wives Choir make debut

The wives and girlfriends of soldiers from the North West serving in Afghanistan are making their singing debut as the Weeton Military Wives Choir this weekend.

The 24-strong choir consists mainly of the partners of soldiers who serve at Weeton Barracks, near Blackpool, the home of the 2nd Battalion, The Duke of Lancaster's Regiment.

Their performance is among the highlights of this year's Preston Military Show at Fulwood Barracks on Saturday.
