Freckleton fire: 999 call made by Dyson Allen released
The 999 call made by a teenager who killed four siblings by setting light to a bedroom wardrobe at a house in Lancashire has been released.
Dyson Allen, 19, of no fixed address, denied starting the fire that killed four-year-old twins Holly and Ella Smith and brothers Jordan, two, and Reece, 19, at the dormer bungalow on 7 January last year.
He was convicted of four counts of manslaughter. Jurors at Preston Crown Court cleared him of murder.
In the call, Allen can be heard telling the operator that the "fire is spreading" and that "no-one can get in" to save those inside.
Reece Smith died after re-entering the bungalow after the fire began to try and save his siblings.
