Lancashire West's 'disparate communities'

Six candidates are battling it out for the Lancashire West parliamentary seat on 7 May.

Despite its name, the constituency is nestled in the south-west corner of the county and its two principal towns are Ormskirk and Skelmersdale.

The seat was formed in 1983 and has been Labour since 1992, with Rosie Cooper winning the last two elections.

BBC Radio Lancashire's Mike West reports.
