Leicestershire memorial garden opens for death crash women

A memorial garden has opened in memory of two young women who died in a road crash in Leicestershire.

Jade Srawley and Amelia Ecob, both 20 and from Battram, were killed in a four-vehicle collision on Bagworth Road, in Barlestone, on 27 January 2011.

Hundreds of people attended the opening and a music and activity event in the village of Battram to celebrate their lives.

Ms Srawley's father Lee said they raised more than £10,000 to fund tributes to "help the healing process".
