Parents remember Samantha Day with new charity
Parents of Samantha Day, who is thought to have been killed by her husband Toby Day, have spoken for the first time.
John and Janet Neal said they remembered their 38-year-old daughter as a caring, selfless person who was dedicated to family life.
Mr Day, a former inspector with Leicestershire Police, is also thought to have killed their youngest daughter Genevieve, six, and seriously injured their two teenage children, Kimberley and Adam, before killing himself at their family home in Melton Mowbray.
The family have set up the Sam Day Foundation in her memory, which aims to arrange days out for families in need in Melton and Rutland.
