Dig for King Richard III remains in Leicester car park

A medieval battle has taken place on the spot where it is believed King Richard III is buried.

Excavation work is about to begin to establish if his remains are underneath the tarmac at the Leicester car park.

The last Plantagenet king was killed at Bosworth in 1485 and his body taken to a Franciscan Friary in the city.
