Paralympic Games: A dream come true for Kieran Tscherniawsky

Seated discus athlete Kieran Tscherniawsky says it is a dream come true to represent Team GB at the Paralympic Games.

The 20-year-old from Heckington, Lincolnshire, has cerebral palsy and has competed in discus events for the past three years.

He recently threw over 29m at a test event in the Olympic Stadium and currently holds both the European and UK records for under-23s, with a throw of 29.57m recorded in Bedford last year.

As well as competing in discus events, Kieran plays wheelchair basketball and enjoys weightlifting.
