Cypriot Londoners collect food for Cyprus

Food and supplies donated by Londoners are to be sent on an aid ship to Cyprus this week.

The Red Cross has been appealing for help for Cypriots left hungry after the banking crisis.

More than 300,000 British people of Cypriot ancestry live in London and many of them are collecting aid to help those suffering.

BBC London's Sarah Harris spoke to volunteers Marina Papadopoulou and Doria Charalambous from the Cyprus Love Campaign UK, Anstasia Tjirkalli and Leba Koursoumba of The Red Cross.
