Artists 'pushed out' of central London in property boom

London artists say they are being pushed out of affordable studios as regeneration moves on apace in the capital.

BBC London's Rita Monjardino went to a former biscuit factory in Bermondsey where artists including Tara Cranswick have been told they will need to move on to make way for redevelopment.

Sculptor Philip Smelling says he has had to move to Essex to find affordable studio space.

Jonathan Harvey of the charity Acme Studios explains one solution is to encourage developers to include artists' studios in new building projects.
