Met acting 'vindictively' claims PC James Patrick
A Metropolitan Police whistle-blower has said the force is acting in a "vindictive" way after he accused it of manipulating crime figures.
PC James Patrick has now resigned and leaves the force next month; however, he has now been told that Scotland Yard is now investigating him for gross misconduct after he appeared on TV and radio without permission.
BBC London's home affairs correspondent Guy Smith looks into what the dispute is about, and gets reaction from Bernard Jenkin MP, the chair of the Public Administration Select Committee.
