Gang victims to get help from youth workers in hospitals

Youth workers are to be placed in all of London's major trauma centres to help victims of gang violence.

The idea, which has been trialled at Kings College Hospital, is being expanded to support young patients when they are discharged from medical care.

Latest figures from City Hall show gang crime has continued to fall in London but some think a large part of it remains hidden.
