Derailed London Paddington train lifted back on tracks

A two-carriage train which derailed outside London Paddington after it went through a red signal has been lifted back on to the tracks.

Engineers separated the two carriages then used a jack to lift each one and move it back on to the line.

The rear carriage has been removed from the rails while the front compartment was removed shortly afterwards, Network Rail said.
