Rare photos of post-war London published

Rare photographs showing post-war life in London's East End have been published in a new book.

Tate Britain has released a collection of newly-digitised images taken between 1949-1953 in Bethnal Green by artist and photographer Nigel Henderson,.

The new book showcases 150 images of normal life in London as it dealt with the long lasting effects of World War Two.
