The Christie Hospital in Manchester launches mobile chemotherapy unit

The Christie Hospital has launched a £700,000 mobile chemotherapy unit.

The treatment centre will be transported to supermarkets in Chadderton, Rochdale, Bolton, Stretford and Hyde.

The unit, which has been partly funded by BBC Radio Manchester's £1m appeal, will treat 6000 patients a year.
